Dental Anxiety

We understand that visiting the dentist can be stressful for some patients.  If you have had traumatic dental experiences in the past, struggle with high levels of fear, difficulty getting numb, a strong gag reflex, sensitive teeth, or other complex dental needs, we have created a calming, welcoming environment designed to help you feel at ease from the moment you walk through our doors.  We take the time to listen, explain procedures clearly, and tailor care to your comfort level and individual needs.

For those who need additional support, we may offer effective options to reduce anxiety, including:

  • Nitrous Oxide: Often referred to as laughing gas, this is a gentle, fast-acting sedative that helps you relax while remaining fully awake. Its effects wear off quickly, so you can resume normal activities after your appointment.
  • Oral Sedation: A prescribed medication taken before your visit to reduce anxiety and help you feel more at ease during treatment.
