Information for New Patients

At the Sechelt Dental Centre, we believe in transparency and patient-centered care.  Your treatment plan will include a clear breakdown of all applicable fees so you are fully informed of costs before any extensive treatment is provided.

We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Cheque, Debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express.  If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to speak with a member of our team.  We will review your payment options to accommodate your financial needs.

We are happy to assist you in working with your insurance provider. For most treatments, we will pre-authorize your insurance plan to determine your coverage from the outset.  We are able to help you submit claims directly to insurance companies on your behalf.

Please note, we encourage all patients to be familiar with their own dental plans—including coverage limits, exclusions, and annual maximums—and to contact their insurance provider directly with any specific questions.

The Sechelt Dental Centre participates in the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). We welcome eligible patients covered under this program and are committed to providing high-quality dental care in accordance with CDCP guidelines.  There are specific limitations with the CDCP and our team is here to help you understand what may or may not be covered under the plan.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.  If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 2 business days’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee. This allows us to offer the time to another patient in need of care.
